Community

How this community works

Short version: be useful, be honest about your results, and do not sell to the members. The rest is detail.

Version 1.0, 13 August 2026

Most trading communities die the same way. They fill up with people selling signals, screenshots of wins with the losses cropped out, and arguments that stopped being about trading a long time ago. Then the people who were actually doing the work go quiet, and leave.

These rules exist so that does not happen here. They are not long and they are not complicated.

How we talk to each other

Disagree with the idea, not the person.

Picking apart somebody's backtest is the whole point of this place. Picking apart the person who ran it is not. If you would not say it to their face at a meetup, do not post it.

Ask the question.

Nobody here started out knowing this. A question you think is basic is one four other people wanted to ask and did not.

Keep it in the room.

Screenshots of private messages, other members' account numbers, balances or personal details do not get posted. What somebody shares in the community stays in the community.

Money, claims and advice

Nothing posted here is financial advice.

Not from CIM-EDGE, not from any member, not from the tools. Everything shared is information and opinion. What you do with your own money is your decision and your responsibility.

No guaranteed returns, ever.

No "this cannot lose", no promised monthly percentages, no doctored equity curves. If a strategy worked, show the test that proves it, including the losing periods.

Show the losses with the wins.

A screenshot of a good week without the drawdown behind it is marketing, not evidence. Post the whole picture or do not post it.

No selling to the members.

No signal services, no copy trading, no managed accounts, no referral links, no recruiting for another course or a prop firm. People paid to be here, not to be sold to. Ask the team first if you think you have an exception.

Your membership and the tools

Your login is yours alone.

One person, one account. Sharing a login, or sharing your licence keys for the EA or the Backtest Manager, ends the membership. The system notices new devices and it emails you when it does.

Do not redistribute what is inside.

The course videos, the expert advisors, the Backtest Manager and the research in the matrix are for members. Reposting them anywhere else ends the membership and we will pursue it.

Report a problem, do not exploit it.

If you find a way to see something you should not, tell us. You will get a thank you rather than a problem.

What gets a post removed

Anything illegal, hateful, or aimed at a person.

Racism, harassment, threats, and anything that would embarrass you in front of your family. Removed immediately, no discussion.

Spam and off-topic promotion.

This is a trading community. Keep it about trading.

Deliberately misleading results.

Faked screenshots, cherry picked periods presented as typical, or numbers you cannot back up when asked.

What happens if a line gets crossed

In that order, unless something is serious enough to skip straight to the end.

  1. 1 A quiet word Most things are a misunderstanding. You get a message explaining what crossed the line and that is the end of it.
  2. 2 The post comes down If it should not be up, it comes down and you are told why.
  3. 3 A formal warning Recorded on your account. Two of these and the next step is automatic.
  4. 4 Suspended You keep your course access and your data, but you cannot post for a set period.
  5. 5 Membership ended For sharing logins, redistributing the tools, or anything malicious. No refund for the remaining period.

Reporting something

Every post in the community has a Report option. It goes straight to the team, nobody else sees who reported it, and it gets looked at the same day. If it is easier, reply to any CIM-EDGE email instead.

If you think a decision was wrong, say so. Everything is recorded with a reason, so there is always something to point at.

These guidelines sit alongside the terms of use and the privacy policy. When they change in a way that matters, every member is asked to read and accept them again.
